This kit and its price are based on our engineers’ experience. Seeding equipment varies from one model year to another and according to each manufacturer’s design decisions. Seed blockage and flow monitoring for John Deere 1990 CCS and N500C (N530C, N536C, N540C, N542C) air drills (1990 CCS, N530C, N536C, N540C, N542C, 30 to 42 ft, 7.5, 10 or 15 in spacing) — one sensor on every Ø25 mm seed tube.
Each seed line gets an Agriwelt Pro optical flow sensor that clamps onto the seed tube. The Hectare display shows the flow in every line as a bar graph with a threshold line. When the flow drops to the threshold — set by hand or automatically — the display raises an alarm before the line blocks completely. See how it looks in the video on this page.
Why Agriwelt
- No modules, no boxes. Up to 40 sensors simply plug into one line with standard cables; a small terminator closes the end. Larger drills get one splitter in the middle — that is all.
- Early warning, not just a blockage alarm. Flow level per line with an adjustable threshold, in the field for more than 15 years.
- Seed and fertiliser separately. With a fertiliser circuit the display shows two levels per row.
- We design and manufacture the sensors and displays ourselves in Austria.
- Standalone: no ISOBUS, no subscription; powered from the tractor's standard 3-pin socket. Ready for do-it-yourself installation.

Questions
Does the system count seeds?
In precision seeding — single seeds, from rapeseed to maize — the monitor counts the seeds of every row and shows doubles and skips. In dense flow, as with cereals, it shows the relative flow of every row as a bar and gives an alarm when a row falls below its limit; exact seed counting in dense flow is in development. How it works
Can the system also control the seed rate?
Yes. With Agriwelt drive controllers and motors tested by us it controls the rate of up to 4 products, dry or liquid. These components are not part of this kit: Rate Control Kits.
Can other equipment be connected?
The system is complete and standalone; all its components are tested by us for compatibility. Other connections on request.
Is the system already in use on machines like mine?
Systems are in use in Austria, Germany, France and Italy. On request we send you photos of installations on your machine type.
