Shows on the Hectare display which hose is thinning or blocked – while you work, not at the end of the field. For hoses with 50 mm inner diameter, mostly granular fertiliser; it registers any material that flows through.
For seed tubes Ø25–35 mm there is the seed flow sensor for round seed tubes.

Why this sensor
- Counts seeds, not just “flow / no flow”: the display compares the rows and flags a thinning row before it blocks.
- No modules between sensors and display – fewer parts that can fail, fewer parts to pay for.
- No calibration: the alarm line is set on the display, or taken from the average of all rows.
- In most cases no cleaning for the whole service life: the sensor compensates dust on its optics by itself.
- Each sensor is a self-contained smart device: it watches its own condition and reports a fault with its row number.

Questions
Does it count every seed?
It counts every seed that passes on its own. In dense cereal flow, seeds passing together count as one – so the display uses the count to compare rows and show uniformity, not as an exact seed number.
Can I replace a single sensor?
Yes. The new sensor gets the row number of the old one in the service menu of the display.
Do I need ISOBUS?
No. The sensors work with the Hectare display.
Can it monitor fertiliser?
Yes. The same sensor goes into the fertiliser tube; the display shows fertiliser as a separate group with its own alarm line.
