Why this sensor

  • Counts small seed too: oilseed rape, seed by seed. Not every seed sensor does.
  • Measures the passage of each seed through the light beam; the display shows seeds per metre, doubles and skips for every row.
  • No calibration: doubles and skips are judged against your target rate and the current speed.
  • Compensates dust and seed dressing on the optics; in most cases no cleaning during its service life.
  • Sensor to sensor and straight to the display, without modules. Sealed SuperSeal standard connectors.
  • Monitors its own condition and reports a fault with the row number.

Installation

  • Sensors are connected in series, row 1 on the left in the direction of travel.
  • The last sensor is closed with the terminator; its ground clamp goes onto bare metal of the frame.
  • Each sensor gets its row number on the display; replacement sensors are numbered the same way.

Do I need ISOBUS?

No. The sensors work with the Hectare display.
