Seeding control system for John Deere 1590 no-till drill (Ø32 mm seed tubes)

Seed blockage and flow monitoring for John Deere 1590 no-till grain drills (10, 15 and 20 ft, 7.5 or 10 inch spacing) — one sensor on every Ø32 mm seed tube.

Each seed line gets an Agriwelt Pro optical flow sensor that clamps onto the seed tube. The Hectare display shows the flow in every line as a bar graph with a threshold line. When the flow drops to the threshold — set by hand or automatically — the display raises an alarm before the line blocks completely. See how it looks in the video on this page.

Why Agriwelt

Kit contents

• Agriwelt Pro flow sensor for Ø32 mm seed tube — one per seed line
• Display: Hectare mini, Hectare 5 or Hectare ONE, as selected. The compact Hectare mini (2.8") shows up to 60 lines with full-screen alarm messages; it is most comfortable up to about 40 lines. For wider drills we recommend Hectare 5 or ONE.
• Power supply cable for the display (3-pin DIN socket)
• Communication cables from the cab to the drill and between distributor heads; terminator, and for 40+ lines an ESD splitter
